Metro Orlando has 52,055 job openings at the start of March, compared to 52,039 in February. Employ Florida tracked those openings against 45,001 job candidates, or an average of 0.86 candidates per job in March — the same average seen last month. Employ Florida, the partnership between the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity and CareerSource Florida Inc., uses online job listing data to track the number of open jobs, along with the companies seeking workers in both the state and metro areas.
